本日は、平昌オリンピックの開催式ですね！⛷ Did you watch the opening ceremony?
(opening ceremony=開会式)
紀元前8世紀にギリシアのOlympia（オリンピア） という所でやっていたスポーツ大会をイメージした Summer Olympics（夏季オリンピック）は 1896年に初めてアテネで開催され、☀ Winter Olympics（冬季オリンピック）は、 1924年に初めて開催されました❄
初Winter Olympicsの開催地は、 フランスの「シャモニー・モンブラン」
あのモンブランじゃなくて 場所の方です(笑)
自分は、フランスの場所だと 常にわかっていたのに🇫🇷 ケーキのイメージが頭に浮かんで ダイエット中なのに食べたくなりました(笑)
